An Enemy of the People featuring live Blue Grass music is touring to Bemidji, Fergus Falls and Granite Falls.

This revisionary and interactive production of Ibsen’s classic play about poisoned water in a tourist community, features live Blue Grass music from Ashley Hanson and Brian Laidlaw, hot food off the grill and a live audience vote to determine the fate of main character.  Come enjoy a summer night on the river and watch the story of a community in turmoil unfold with a surprise ending.  Every ticket purchased includes a grilled burger or hot dog, chips and a beverage

An Enemy of the People features; Sarah Agnew, Joy Dolo, Darcey Engen, Luverne Seifert, Dario Tangelson and Suzanne Warmamen along with community musicians and actors from the Bemidji, Fergus Falls and Granite Falls areas.

Coming this fall

The Hoopla Train is once again chugging down the tracks and coming to Minneapolis and St. Paul!

Fresh of it’s tour to 14 historic ballrooms in greater Minnesota, Sod House Theater will bring The Hoopla Train to the Minneapolis Eagles Club and the Ukrainian Event Center in Minneapolis. 

The Hoopla Train with Yard Master Yip and his Polkastra is a Vaudeville-style variety show that will be touring historic Minnesota Ballrooms in July and August of 2015. It’s The Lawrence Welk Show meets Hee Haw with live music, singing, sketch comedy and feats of amazement! Children age 4 to 104 will love this family-friendly show. Audience members are encouraged to dance to polkas and waltzes while being entertained by the finest comedic actors the Twin Cities has to offer. The show also will feature a live talent show contest for members of the community. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

The Hoopla Train features; Darcey Engen, Nathan Keepers, Elise Langer, Kimberly Richardson, Luverne Seifert, Andrea Wollenberg and featuring Jim Lichtscheidl as Yard Master Yip, with live music from National Polka Hall of Famer, Florian Chmielewski and The Chmielewski Funtime Band!
